Australian Wildlife Conservancy Ecofire program

Australian Wildlife Conservancy

Large wild fires are incredibly damaging to the precious flora and fauna in northern Australia, impacting in two devastating ways; by destroying critical habitat for shelter from feral cats and limiting access to food sources for native animals.

The Australian Wildlife Conservancy Ecofire program conducts fire management through small, early season burns which reduce the frequency, scale and intensity of wildfires later in the dry season.

Wen Giving supports the AWC Ecofire program; the largest non-government fire management program in Australia.
